The inaugural Oktoberfest night at The Potters Arms was a big hit with customers.
The mid-October event featured a oompah band, outside bar serving beers including Kozel and Maltsmiths’ Bavarian style pilsner and food including Bratwurst and pork schnitzel.
The pub also had Potters Arms’ branded stein glasses which customers paid a £5 deposit, with the majority choosing to keep them as souvenir. Licensee Richard Edwards said: “It was a great event with customers up singing and dancing and we will do it again next year. We charged £15 for a ticket which included food and the band which worked well.”
