Renowned operators take on The Pocket Watch as first London pub
April 16, 2025

Renowned Cotswolds pub operators Tom Noest & Peter Creed have taken on The Pocket Watch as their first London pub.
Tom & Peter opened their first pub, The Bell Inn in Langford in 2017, then went on to open five further Cotswolds sites including The Little Bell at the acclaimed Soho Farmhouse and The Lamb Inn in Shipton under Wychwood, which was named the Sunday Times Pub with Rooms 2021. Their newest opening in the Cotswolds was The Tivoli in central Cheltenham, last July.
The pair’s delicious, locally-sourced dishes have garnered rave reviews from top critics including Dolly Alderton and Giles Coren, who described their bones marrow flatbread as his “best mouthful of the year, best mouthful of my life more like”.
Pete & Tom know wha makes each of their pubs tick, without overcomplicating. They work closely with local farmers and suppliers to create generous, well-priced menus that let the ingredients flourish. They have a preference for nose to tail cooking and their devilled kidneys and buttermilk fried chicken are celebrated.
It takes a talented business owner to note that the real bread and butter of any pubs is its locals and Peter & Tom have monthly events programmes to keep them coming back for more.
We’re delighted Pete & Tom have chosen a Brakspear pub as their first London site, and look forward to working with them to make it a huge success!
