Chequers Love Lane
The Chequers is a beautiful 16th century family run pub, located in the heart of the village of Watlington, next to the Chiltern Hills which has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. They have a traditional bar in two sections, a conservatory and large garden. The village is a short drive away from the M40 Motorway and within easy reach of Henley, Wallingford and Stokenchurch. The ancient Icknield way that forms a part of the Ridgeway National Trail passes through the south east of Watlington.
