The William Bray is a large food led pub nestled in the Surrey Hills.
Location and Local Amenities
Shere is a beautiful village just off the A25 between Guildford and Dorking. There are bus and rail links.
Trade: Large bar (approx. 20 covers), dining area (approx. 38 covers) and two large garden areas (approx. 100 covers). Two sets of ladies/gents WC's. Commercial kitchen, cellar, stores and 3 garages used for stores, one with a walk in fridge. Large car park for approx. 35 cars.
Private: 2 double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, 2 small single bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, double bedroom, office and bathroom. In a separate block there are 3 double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms.
Current and Future Markets
Customers come from Dorking and Guildford as well as the village itself. Other groups include walkers, cyclists, historical study groups, families and tourists especially in the summer.
This pub has many different aspects and a solid base which needs to be maximised.
We seek experienced operators with a strong food expertise who enjoy being part of a village community. Applicants must have or be able to apply for a Personal Licence.
