Dating back to the 14th Century, the Star and Eagle played a significant historic role in Kent's history. It originally belonged to Tonbridge Priory and has been licensed since the 16th Century. Today it offers all the modern comforts you would expect but managing to retain the original historic feel of days gone by. Renowned in the area for their fine food and great service, the menus offer traditional wholesome food with a twist of Spain from the Spanish proprietor and an ever changing black board offering local seasonal specials with lots of local game in the winter months. 10 loved and cared for bedrooms, a terrace with outstanding views and a small meeting/function room complete the Star and Eagle, not forgetting the Ghost!
