Set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, The Shears Inn offers a sumptuous British/French menu of freshly prepared food that changes with the seasons. The drinks on offer range from reasonably priced to fine wines all sourced by the landlord Bertie who was once a sommelier/manager of Michelin starred establishments. Cask ales change with the seasons, stocking more light ales in the summer months moving to darker ales as winter sets in. Bertie is happy to advise on the best beer or wine to suit your taste and budget. With a roaring fire on colder days and a relaxing garden in the summer months, The Shears is a great place to stop for a drink, lunch or dinner or take advantage of the bed & breakfast accommodation and stay a little longer. Surrounded by rural walks, located 15 minutes from Marlborough, 30 minutes from Stonehenge this 16th Century Inn is a gem.
