As we’re sure you know, pubs in England have been forced to close by the Government.
Some of our pubs are offering a takeaway service so please check their website and social media pages for more info. A large majority of our pubs are opening their outside space on the 12th April 2021, but please do check the pub websites and social media pages for the exact info.
Things are subject to change and as pubs find their way in these uncertain times, we ask for your patience and to check each pub’s social media accounts for the latest news.

Nestled in the Hambleden valley is the Chequers Inn sitting in the heart of the village of Fingest. A beautiful brick and flint public house set in Oxfordshire countryside offering a homely and rural pub feel, throughout all seasons. The couple at the helm are Jaxon and Emma Keedwell, who have been running a Brakspears' pub for a number of years and have garnered a loyal following. Jaxon is in charge of the kitchen and loves creating simple but well executed fresh food. He utilises his knowledge gleaned from over 20 years cooking to source his food, and to employ local people in order to give his customers a “taste of Oxfordshire”. Accompanied by his wife Emma and the team, the atmosphere is cosy and the pub is thriving. The Chequers pub is a well-regarded retreat by the locals and the garden is the best kept secret in the valley.
