The Bull & Butcher is a beautiful traditional character pub built in 1542 nestled in the heart of the Hambleden valley, 3 miles from the M40 junction 5. The village is famous for filming and can lay claim to many a favourite television shows and films including the Vicar of Dibley, Midsummer Murders, Good Night Mr. Tom and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to name but a few. The surrounding countryside is fantastic for families, walkers, cyclists, horse riders and dog lovers. The pub itself serves and range of premium cask conditioned ales, lagers and an exciting range of wines and spirits. A great variety of teas and coffees are also available with a cake if you feel a bit naughty. The food offer ranges from the traditional classics to more refined gastro pub foods. All dishes are prepared on site by a team of professional chefs using fresh and local produce. You are sure to receive a friendly welcome and can sit by the huge inglenook fireplace in the colder months. Children and dog friendly, all are welcome.
