Description
The Anchor pub is a 400+ year old Inn that boasts numerous low oak ship beams, wood burning stove and wooden and slate floors giving a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Located just 200yds south of Henley Bridge in Friday Street, literally 30yds from the River Thames. The pub / restaurant always has its doors open to regular customers and passing travellers, looking for a good quality meal and a wide range of beverages. There are two comfortable, well decorated bars and an attractively furnished restaurant seating 24. The beautiful south facing walled garden with its modern Rattan furniture and cream coloured umbrellas is extremely popular during the summer months seating up to 65 covers. Any sections of the pub can be booked for private functions.
