Well done to Emma Righton, business owner at The King William in Hailey near Wallingford, who is the winner of the recent Westons competition.
Emma will be enjoying the VIP visit to Westons’ home in Much Marcle in Herefordshire, including two nights in the historic Feathers Hotel in Ledbury, a tour of the Westons Cider Mill with lunch at their on-site Scrumpy House restaurant and a two hour paddleboarding trip. The prize also includes a hamper full of Westons ciders and merch.
Emma said: “It was wonderful to win this trip and I’m really looking forward to revisiting this beautiful part of the country. I used to be a hop broker and have fond memories of visiting the area, including The Feathers.
“It will be a perfect combination of chilling out in a lovely hotel, learning more about cidermaking at Westons and enjoying beautiful views as I paddleboard down the River Wye.”

Westons ran the competition as part of its 2025 year of celebrations marking its 145th anniversary. Brakspear account manager Ollie Gay said: “We are fortunate to be based in a gorgeous part of the country and it’s always a pleasure to share it with customers. We had a great response to this competition but there can only be one winner – so well done to Emma, and I know she’ll have a wonderful time.”
