A group of customers at the Joker in Brighton are earning their Wednesday night pint after the pub started a weekly running club, called Stay Jokes. Runners meet at the Joker at 8.00 and the run finishes back at the pub.

The club was set up with local tattoo shop Stay Much Better Tattoo by Joker team member Stacey Pates, who said, “We started Stay Jokes as a healthy, fun activity to strengthen the community spirit among the small businesses around the pub.  We generally have around 10 people and welcome all running abilities. And we always finish with a drink and a chat at the Joker, so it’s sociable as well.”
