From Tuesday 17th August, the world-famous Henley Ale Trail is back with a brand new t-shirt. As enjoyed by Ed Sheeran and his pals back in June 2019, we’re delighted it’s back up and running again after a 16 month break.
Maps will be available from Monday 16th August from any one of the 10 pubs or download from www.henleyaletrail.co.uk so get the A Team together and get going. You can enjoy one pint of Brakspear ale (or any other paid-for drink, soft drinks are always an option!) and get your map stamped and your t-shirt can be collected from either the Bull on Bell Street or the Saracen’s Head.
Just remember it’s a marathon not a sprint. You don’t have to complete it in one day, the 2021 t-shirt will be available until the end of the year. If the bar staff think you’ve had enough ale trailing for one day judging by the shape of you, they’re well within their rights not to serve you.
So forget castle on the hill, we’re more Angel on the Bridge here. Happy Ale Trailing all!
Gold stars to those who spot the four Ed Sheeran songs in this post…
