CAMRA Award for Jolly Brickmakers

Congratulations to Dick and Judith Holland, tenants at the Jolly Brickmakers in Redhill, who have just been named as Pub of the Season by their local CAMRA branch.

Dick and Judith have worked hard over recent years to build the Jolly Brickmakers’ reputation for cask ale. They have been awarded Cask Marque accreditation and are included in the current edition of CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide. Their twice-yearly beer festivals have become a ‘must attend’ for the growing number of cask ale drinkers in and around Redhill.

Dick said, “Serving cask ale to a consistently high standard is hard work, but it’s been rewarding to see this side of our business take off. Being named as CAMRA Pub of the Season is wonderful recognition and will help us grow our cask trade still further.”

He added, “On the day of our Award presentation, we installed our fourth handpump, which we are using for a traditional cider.”
