Award-winning duo take helm at Stratford Townhouse

The couple have a wealth of hospitality experience: Jen has worked in the Stratford area for a number of years, while Rob is a talented chef who has worked around the world. Starting in the Hull and Beverley area, he moved to Australia to broaden his experience, working in several kitchens along the east coast.

On his return to the UK, he started working at the Pipe & Glass near Beverley and was instrumental in winning the many accolades it received during his eight years at the restaurant. Then came a move to a a pub in the Yorkshire Dales, where he gained 2AA rosettes for his dishes, based on simple ingredients cooked to perfection.

Diners in Stratford have given Rob’s cooking a big thumbs up.  The pub also hosts regular live music, including a popular session on Sunday afternoons – the perfect follow up to the cracking roast dinners!
